Member Benefits

The Network provides members with the visibility and insight into critical policy changes and encourages members to:

• Connect. By bringing together leaders across the spectrum of green business and clean technology, the Network creates a cross-cutting intelligence pool of clean technology and green business professionals focused on growing the clean economy. Green business and clean technology members join across sectors and across the country to become a strong voice advocating for the clean economy.
• Collaborate. The Network provides members with the information and tools they need to mobilize and collaborate as effective advocates for the development and adoption of public policies to expand the clean economy and green jobs.
• Organize & Advocate. The Network provides a framework for direct engagement in the political process through coordinated local engagement. The Network supports advocacy on the part of its members by identifying key windows of advocacy opportunity, furnishing policy intelligence and other resources that both enable members to target their efforts, and providing members opportunities to meet face-to-face with policymakers.

General Membership

General Membership is available free of charge to all clean technology and green business leaders, including business leaders, workers, entrepreneurs, consultants and service providers, and others committed to the Network’s principles.

Members have access to the following:

• Advocacy Support. General Members are full participants in the Network’s advocacy efforts. General members may make requests of the network for advocacy support as well as receive requests for such support.
• Input. General Members have a voice in shaping Network advocacy positions and activities.
• Events and activities. General Members have access to all Network events and activities.

Executive Membership

Executive Membership is intended for business leaders seeking additional insight into how various policies will affect our businesses, our industries, and our investments, as well as opportunities to provide input on those policies.

In addition to the benefits for general membership, the Network will provide Executive Members:

•    Insight.  Executive members will participate in bi-weekly phone briefings. Briefings from Political Director Tim Greeff and guest experts will highlight policy issues of concern to members and provide focused analysis relevant to various clean technology and green business industries. These briefings will help busy leaders and executives stay on top of policy developments and advocacy opportunities.

•    Access.  Executive Members will play a leading role in advocacy campaigns and will receive priority alerts for involvement in relevant state, municipal and regional efforts, as well as federal level actions.

•    Event Invitations.  Executive members will receive priority invitations to appear as speakers or special guests at Network events.
